The Blurb:

He wants her. All of her.

NYPD sniper Matt Donovan is in Hell. Instead of driving his best friend’s little sister home from college, he’s stuck with her roommate—a fresh-faced ray-of-sunshine with a body that makes grown men weep. There’s no way he’ll allow himself to taint the little vixen, no matter how hard she tries to tempt him, so he resigns himself to the longest—and hardest—drive of his life.

Matt’s obvious attraction suits grad student Lucy Mason just fine. She had no idea her brother’s best friend was so deliciously hot. Knowing he’d never have his wicked way with his buddy’s sister, she lies about her identity and seduces him. But Matt’s no fumbling college boy. His desires run deep—and dark—and he wants to teach Lucy what wicked really means.

Matt’s demanding appetites only make Lucy want more. But when her cover's blown, he’s furious—even as his hunger for her becomes insatiable. Matt can’t trust anyone, least of all himself. And he knows all too well that darkness always destroys the light…

4 Spank me harder Matt stars

“You come because I allow it. You only do it for me.”

Nicely done Tessa Bailey! Matt's book may have been a shorter one, but it was packed full of yummy goodness. I enjoyed it very much. Insta-love in books are either a hit or miss with me and this one worked for me. I would have loved it to be longer, and some of the dirty talk didn't flow right for me. It was like one dirty line he would say would be hot as hell, and then next he was like a newbie not use to talking dirty and fumbling through it. IDK he just wasn't as smooth as the others in the dirty talking department. Also he acted a little emo to me. "I'm Dark, I'm tainted, blah blah." Which is why this was a 4 star instead of a 5 for me.

“You’re going to be sore tomorrow. From me. From how I’m about to fuck you. Every time you walk, sit, or stand, you’re going to think of me.”

What this book is about

Matt Donovan a NYPD sniper has been roped into picking up his best friend Brent's little pain in the ass sister Lucy, and bring her back to New York. When he gets there to pick her up he is told by her smokin' hot roomate that Lucy isn't coming, but she could still use a ride to New York. When the car breaks down on the way. Matt and Lucy's sexy roomate share some amazing sex. Matt wants to see her again, but as soon as she gets to NY she blows him off. The next day at a party for his BF Brent and Hayden, he is shocked to find out that the woman who rocked his world 24 hours ago is not Lucy's roomate ,but is in fact Lucy herself, his best friend's little sister. Feeling betrayed, and angry, will he be able to get pass the fact that she lied to him, and that she is Brents sister to see where this connection goes or walk away forever?

“You don’t get to hold back. Not when I’m ten inches deep, Lucy. I won’t allow it.”

Matt:

Matt was brooding , dominant, and very serious. He doesn't talk much which leaves Lucy confused about his feelings for her. He has lots of baggage from the betrayal of his ex-fiance and his ex best friend who were sleeping with each other behind his back. He also likes bondage, spanking and kinkier sex which he feels is wrong and sick, because his ex looked at him like he was a monster and told him he had a sickness. So he feels like he is dark and tainted and would ruin Lucy if he let himself stay with her. I liked Matt a lot, but his "I'm bad " emo ways annoyed me a little.

“The first time I tongue you into coming, it’s going to be an apology. The second time will be a reward for waiting.” He fell to his knees and took his first intoxicating taste of Lucy. A growl worked its way free of his chest. “The third time is going to be because I fucking love to hear you scream.”

“You shouldn’t want this. You shouldn’t want my punishment. But you do, don’t you? You’re starved for it.”

“Lucy Mason, you brought the color in. You brought me to life when I didn’t even realize I’d stopped breathing.” He laid his hand over hers on his cheek. “Now I can’t get enough air. It’s everywhere because of you.”

Lucy:

Lucy was great. She was playful, outgoing, and a free spirit. She is brave and kind of a dare devil. She has been holding herself back, because she is insecure about being a pain in her family's ass especially her brother Brent, who worked two jobs to put her through college. She is ready to start her new life, and career. I loved Lucy she was so full of life, and she tried really hard to give Matt everything he needed.

“I thought of you every time I sat down today. Just like you told me to, Matt.”

“I’m not taking the Paris job, you moron. But don’t worry, my staying in New York has nothing to do with you. I know the score. So don’t worry about me. I know what this is.” She skirted past him. “It’s nothing.”

“Yes you can. You’re here in the sun with me right now.” The words came out in a rush. She barely knew what she was saying, only that she was losing him. The Matt who’d thrown water balloons was receding, to be replaced with the stoic, closed-off man he showed everyone else. “You just have to stay here with me.”

“Hottest fuck of my life,” he growled into her neck. “Can’t think of a goddamn thing but getting back inside you. What did you do to me?”

Matt and Lucy as a couple are cute. It was fun watching Lucy bring Matt to life. He lets go a little and has fun. I really liked the water ballon fight in the park. The sex of couse was hot. I liked getting to see Brent and Hayden again. It was a nice quick read. I really liked the ending. Line of Duty was a great series full of Sexy, dirty talking cops, and sassy leading ladies. I would recommend it. Below I will leave my favorite moment from the book:

She didn’t. Halfway through the lively song about a young French maid losing her virtue in a field, the lyrics completely fled her brain. People were smiling and bobbing their heads at her, though. That was a good sign, right? If she could just make it through the end of the song, she might escape this without requiring ten years’ worth of therapy. What were those stupid lyrics? Not a single word came to mind. Praying no one in the room knew French, Lucy started singing about another tragedy, possibly worse than the French maid losing her V-card.

J’ai rencontré un bel homme Nous sommes allés à l’hôtel Il a fessé mon cul, notre pizza partit Et je suis en enfer maintenant. Which roughly translated to: I met a lovely fellow We went to a motel He spanked my ass Our pizza left And now I am in hell.

4 There is a thin line between love and hate Stars

“Something tells me a man like you can’t hold out long enough to make it past the entryway. Just wham-bam, let me get back to playing Grand Theft Auto, ma’am.” “I prefer Halo,”

Ok so rating this one was hard for me. It wasn't a bad read it just didn't do it for me like most of the other books in this series. The problems I have with this book is I couldn't figure out if I liked the heroine or not! I also really, really, really (I am going to throw one more Really in here?) Really didn't like the whole "force to marry a pushy ass I don't like to save the family's money" thing!!!!! That being said I loved the hero, and of course the dirty talk, so I will give this book 4 stars instead of the 3.5 stars I was thinking about giving.

“You need a good tongue-fucking, duchess.”

What this book is about

Brent Mason and Hayden Winstead are not friends, in fact they can't stand each other. He thinks she is just some stuck up rich bitch, and she thinks he is a rude meathead. They are always around each other because their best friends are in love and getting married. So Brent and Hayden fight all the time. Under all those rude comments, and jabs is lust that they are both fighting. Anger turns into a wild night of passion, but can they just walk away like it never happened, or do they fight to be together despite their dislike of each other?

“What exactly is your idea of showing me, duchess?” He smirked. “Silk sheets, candlelight…the gentle strains of Kenny G. I’d love to see how the other half fucks.”

Brent:

Brent truly saved this book for me. He is a great character. Hard working and loyal. He works two jobs to help his family. He is sweet, and kind of a goofball. Of course he is a skilled dirty talker. I loved that he was willing to give up control in the bedroom at times to Hayden, but still a kinky bad boy! He let his male pride blind him at times and he was mouthy, but I found him sexy.

“Look at you. You’re already scared. Afraid of a little pleasure, duchess? Worried you might actually like my middle-class mouth on you?”

“You made this fucking sound, Hayden. The first time you spread your legs to take my cock. I hear it everywhere I go. This goddamn…moan? Sob? I don’t know. All I know is if I don’t fuck that sound out of you again soon, I’m going to completely lose my mind.”

“Hayden Winstead! Don’t you dare! Don’t you dare marry someone else. We will fix this, do you understand me? If it means I have to work ten jobs. Your family will be fine. You don’t have to do this. Please, please don’t do this.” He banged his head against the door, grateful for the pain somewhere besides his heart. “I know I’m an asshole but I’m working on it. I’m sorry for what I said. So sorry. Hurting you…it might be the worst thing I’ve ever done, but I don’t deserve this. You don’t deserve this. If you marry him, Hayden, I won’t recover. I only got to spend one night holding you, but it was enough to know I have to hold you every single night.”

Hayden:

“It’s going to be over that fast, huh? Don’t worry, champ. It’s a very common problem among men. Happens to the best of them.”

Hmm I have mixed feelings about Hayden, One minute I thought she was funny, sassy, and outgoing. Then the next minute I would think she was fighting dirty when it came to Brent, snobby, and a borderline bitch. I hated that she even for a second thought about marrying another man and I don't care what the reasons are it was a point against her in my book!

“Oh, fuck off, Florence.” She yelled as he reached the living room. “Don’t let the door hit you on your well-spanked ass on the way out.”

“Brent, take me somewhere private. Where I can wrap my legs around all that muscle. Somewhere you can take off my teeny, tiny panties and fuck me hard.”

“I want you to leave your socks on my floor.” A breath shuddered out. “Not on Beth or Betsy or Becky’s floor. I want you to teach me how to grill. That’s something you do, right? In parking lots before sporting events or…or something?” She shook her head, knowing she rambled. “I want to…I want to be the one who worries about you. When you’re at work. I want to zone out while you talk about baseball.”

“You listen best when I’m buried in that sweet pussy. Get on your stomach. I’m about to clear up any misunderstandings.”

Well the sex in this book was hott, and so was the grade A dirty talk, but Hayden and Brent as a couple were just alright. I wasn't really drawn into their relationship, because they walked around almost the whole book butt hurt over wounded pride, differences in classes, and stupid misunderstandings. Instead of clearing the air and talking about it like adults they just tore into each other with insults. Which wouldn't have kept me from investing in them as a couple on it's own, but add that to the fact that Hayden was thinking about marrying another man for money and I am just like whatevs! So while this book was a good read, and the hero rocked my world, this book is not as good as some of the others in the series, but not the worst either. I am on to the last book. Below my favorite moment from this book:

“Who gets the deepest, Hayden?” “Brent,” she moaned. Two quick thrusts. “Who gets fucking hot when his naughty little bad girl makes him work hard for it? Makes him wait?” Oh God, that nearly sent her hurtling over the edge. Her muscles clenched, her thighs shook. Any minute now. “Brent!” “Who tongued your pussy for an hour straight last night?” “Brent,” she sobbed. “Brent.” He let go of her hair and buried his face in her neck, voice dropping considerably. “Who do you belong to?” His name sat right on the tip of her tongue. Her instincts told her to scream it. When she didn’t answer right away, she felt him tense on top of her. Her silence was hurting him. Hating his pain, loving the sense of rightness her heart’s answer made her feel, she threw caution to the wind and followed her instincts. “Brent.”

My Review

5 “You’ve got sixty seconds to prove you’re not just a bunch of talk.” Stars

“Tell me. In your mind, what are we doing in that bed? Are we fucking nice and slow or are you making me sweat for it?”

Now that is what I am talking about!!!!! With the first book in the Line of Duty series I fell in love , the little follow up novella about Ginger and Derek was great , the second book had me a little worried , and this book restored my faith in this series. Tessa Bailey, you truly have a gift for writing sexy, dirty talking, kinky heroes! For that I thank you!

“Oh no. You wanted to be turned around and fucked like a bad girl. Now you’ll say the bad words that go along with it. Tell me what you want.”

What this book is about

Officer off Limits is the 3rd book in this series. In it we meet Daniel Chase, he is a hostage negotiator, and a play boy. He has had a troubled, and hard life. He uses meaningless sex to cope with the pain of his past demons. Everything is going fine, he may not be happy , but this is his life. Then it all changes when he meets this beautiful Blonde ray of sunshine, named Story. He has never wanted anyone as much as he wants her, but there are two big problems standing in his way. 1. She just got dumped by her fiancé and he doesn't want to be a rebound. 2. She is Jack Brooks' daughter, Jack who is his mentor, and boss , and Jack who just told him straight up " Stay away from my Daughter!" Will he let that stand in his way or will he give up his man whore ways and show Story that he is worth taking a chance on?

“I think you want that very badly. Missed my hands, my mouth, my cock, didn’t you, baby?”

Daniel:

Daniel was so sweet. He hasn't had a easy life. He grew up in the system bouncing from foster home to foster home. Then his foster sister Nora has a mental breakdown, ends up shooting, and killing his foster father in front of him. Then she turns the gun on him, shooting him as well. He uses sex to cover up pain, but he feels ashamed and unhappy. He is good at his Job and very caring. He is playful and laid back. Being a reformed man whore , he has major skills in the sack. Making him one hell of a dirty talking , sexy beast!

“Am I under you, watching your breasts bounce as you buck those hips? Or am I on top of you the first time? I could force those thighs wide and bury myself deep in between them.” He leaned forward to lick the curve of her ear. “Maybe I’m behind you. Ah, fuck, I could get in so deep that way, gorgeous. Tell me what you want. I’ll make it happen.”

“Story…lights everything up. Where I come from, the things I’ve seen and done…took something out of me. I don’t know how to be good like her.”

“You came so quickly for me yesterday, like something out of a fantasy. Were you neglected here?” He ran a knuckle along the seam of her panties. “I know how to make it better.”

She made a sound of outrage. “This is exactly how Taylor Swift felt when Kanye West stole her thunder at the VMAs.”

Story:

Story was such a cutie. I freakin loved her. She has a fun, playful sense of humor, and she is pretty sassy. She lost herself by letting her ex fiancé walk on her. She is determined to become the brave, outgoing woman she use to be! But she doesn't just get her old self back she discovers a new bolder, naughty girl side and she likes it!

“So I heard. Um. Thanks for everything.” Oh my God. “I mean, thanks for dropping me off and carrying the suitcase and all that. Not thanks for the orgasm or whatever.” Shut up. Shut up now. “Well, I mean, thanks for that, too. I guess.”

“If I do decide to go out by myself at night, what are you going to do about it? Put an APB out on me?” She did her best imitation of a man. “Yeah, officers, be on the lookout for a fully grown adult female out past eight o’clock. She’s gone rogue.”

“No. I pity the sixteen-year-old boy. Of course I do. How could I not?” Story rose from the windowsill and placed her hands on his chest. She waited until he met her eyes to continue. “But I don’t pity the man. The man took a tragedy and used it to give himself purpose. The man is magnificent.”

“Fuck yeah. Bite me, gorgeous. Mark up my whole body. I want everyone to know who I belong to. Who I get hard for. Just you, Story. Just you.”

I loved them as a couple . Story shows Daniel that he is a great person and worth more than just a lay. She makes him see the good in his self, and Daniel makes her feel free, and safe to be who she really is. OMG them together , burning up my kindle. They were wild and so dayum hot! The car sex wow FREAKING HOT as HELL! I loved the Story and Hayden friend moments, they had me crackin up.

“Wow. Sounds like you’ve got it all figured out.” Eyebrows raised, she pointed a finger at Hayden. “Whoa. What was that tone?” Hayden snapped her teeth at Story’s finger. “That was my wise, earth-mother tone. You like?” “No. I don’t like. Knock it off.”

This book was awesome, and I loved every minute of it. Which is why I read it straight through, Who needs sleep? Not this bitch!!! I am on to the next book , but below I leave my favorite moment in this book:

“If you sing, I’ll let you take me home.” Holy shit. Where had that come from? That honest part of one’s psyche that only makes an appearance when one is half in the bag, apparently. In that moment, she realized that whether or not the thought had been a conscious one, she’d been hoping to see him tonight. Now, he stood right in front of her looking broody and handsome and frustrated. She wanted nothing more than to go home with him and give him something to smile about. Daniel’s eyes flared at her statement and he went perfectly still. Around them, bar customers laughed and high-fived in their seats. Apparently, once again she’d issued her challenge directly into the microphone. Awesome. She raised an eyebrow to let him know she was waiting for his answer. “Well, what’s it going to be, big boy?” His jaw flexed. “Nothing will ever be easy with you, will it?" “I hope not.” The lyrics came up on the screen. After a long-suffering sigh, Daniel began to sing. Or tried to, at least. His voice came out sounding mostly flat and monotone, but it still counted. Story stepped off the stage next to Hayden in order to watch him, positive that she was grinning up at him like a complete lunatic. In between verses, wherein he sang about a guy named Mickey being so fine he blows people’s minds, he cast dark looks in her direction, only succeeding in making her grin wider. To her right, two men she assumed to be Daniel’s friends were doubled over laughing as they watched, wiping tears from their eyes.

My Review

3 you sir are no Derek Tyler stars

Maybe yummy lieutenant Derek Tyler ruined all the other men in this series for me. Maybe he is just too much to top!!! I don't know why, but this one just didn't did it for me. Insta-love stories are either hit or miss for me, and this one was a miss. It felt forced, and I didn't buy their relationship. No way does Troy hold a candle to the Lickable Derek! I expected one thing and got something else altogether. I feel a little let down!

Everything felt off to me. Troy our hero in this story felt like a generic knock off of Derek Tyler in every way. Every way!! The sex, and omg the dirty talk! The dirty talk which I am a huge fan of wasn't nearly as good and at times felt cheesy.

Ruby also fell flat for me. She was your typical misunderstood rebel girl, with the heart of gold under it all. Whatevs! Her angsty sass just wasn't doing it for me. Maybe the first book set the bar too high and I just need to

Because even Troy as a cop and the crime plot to the story felt force like it was suppose to be bad ass and dangerous especially with the save at the end, but it just felt like this to me

Now don't get me wrong the book wasn't bad. It was a okay read an all. I wasn't bored or anything . It just wasn't as good as the first one. I think it would have helped if it had been a little longer, and if we had a little more story line and character development. Oh well I am on to the next one and I hope it is better than this one!

The Blurb:
Possession is nine-tenths of the law. And she belongs to him.

Ginger Peet has never regretted leaving Nashville with her sister and their life-sized statue of Dolly Parton. Now she’s settled in Chicago with Lieutenant Derek Tyler, spending her nights pressed against every inch of his hard, dominating, and panty-meltingly-hot body.

And there’s nowhere Derek would rather be than reminding Ginger—thoroughly and exquisitely—that she belongs to him. But then trouble hits the streets of Chicago. The kind of bust the old-school boys call a "widow-maker." To keep Ginger safe, Derek’s forced to shut her out and keep himself away from her luscious body, or risk losing her forever.

But Ginger has just been presented with some, er, unexpected news. And right now, it’s best she keeps that news to herself. Because Derek stands to lose far more than he knows, until he takes the law—and Ginger—into his own hands one last time...

My Review

“You do what I tell you, Ginger. Or no tongue between your legs.”

In this little novella we get to see a little more of Ginger, and Derek and I for one am glad. I needed more of them. At the end of the first book I thought I would like to see a little more into their future. This book gave me that. Drama, Steam, big secrets, and a big HEA! I even got me a little more dirty talk! I really enjoyed how this novella wrapped everything up for me. And I have always been a sucker for
babies So I was so happy that they are having a baby!!

“Ginger Peet, you were mine the moment I saw you not twenty yards from this spot. I need it to be permanent. I need to call you mine in every sense of the word. Give me that honor and I’ll never give you a reason to doubt me ever again.”
